Debut performance at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, New York City.

VOCES8 is no stranger to the USA, regularly touring twice a year. On their current tour they are giving their debut performance in New York City, at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer.

The programme is “A Choral Tapestry”, which explores the rich timbres of vocal music spanning five centuries. Interweaving genres create an ethereal sonic tapestry in a programme that includes anthems and motets from amongst other, the English Chapel Royal and the Sistine Chapel in Rome as well as traditional folk songs and spirituals. The programme accompanies VOCES8’s hit CD of the same name.

Tickets are available here.

Eleonore Cockerham

After six months of searching and over 100 auditions, VOCES8 has announced that Eleonore Cockerham will succeed Emily Dickens as VOCES8 soprano from September. Eleonore says:

“During my formative years as a chorister and studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, I always dreamed of becoming a performer. I am thrilled that my dream is becoming a reality with VOCES8, and am looking forward to working alongside such talented musicians.
