Justin Doyle’s first season as Chief Conductor

Having spent much of this season in planning with the RIAS Kammerchor, Justin Doyle’s first season has been announced. There is a downloadable brochure here. He writes a welcome, a small part of which says:

“My dear Ladies and Gentlemen, it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to begin a relationship with this inspirational group of musicians, the RIAS Kammerchor, and to get to know you, our listeners! I would like to thank our supporters and funders; I am so grateful to all those organisations and individuals who recognise the importance of music and culture – thank you. Music, and above all singing, has been at the centre of mankind’s life since our earliest times; it is the most natural means of communication, and of evoking the deepest emotions.The more we are able to share this amazing gift, the better.”
